The shock sensor is a safety device used in robotic welding to protect the robot arm and gun from damage in the event of a collision. It can act as a backup safety measure for robots that don't have built-in collision detection software. When a collision occurs, the shock sensor sends a signal to the robot to alert it to shut down, preventing further damage.

Apply a 24V DC voltage to the coil terminals to activate the switch. The SPDT contact output allows you to control one device from two sources or switch between two outputs.
